Looking at his photos you can barely tell that this this relatively young man, who looks barely thirty, is 45 years old. Commonly known as ‘London’s Gold Car- Driving Prince,’ is Turki Bin Abdullah. He was born on October 21st, 1971. He is a member of the House of Saud which is the ruling royal family of Saudi Arabia. The House of Saud is believed to be the richest gene pool in the planet. He is the seventh son of King Abdullah who took up the throne in 2005 following the death of his brother King Fahd. King Abdullah (Turki’s father) reigned from 2005-2015 and was also the custodian of the two holy mosques. King Abdullah is also believed to have amassed a fortune worth $28 billion at the time of his death. On January 14th, 2010 he tied the knot with Princess Hala bint Khalid making him the son-in-law of Prince Khalid bin Sultan.
Education background and achievements:
Turki first attended higher education classes at King Faisal Air College which located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and specializes in military flight. He then joined Lackland Air Force base in Texas, USA and graduated successfully. His liking for military science and flight is quite clear as he also underwent training in King Fahd Air base and later graduated with a master’s degree in military science from Joint Command College located in the United Kingdom. Turki is quite the academic as he also holds another master’s degree in strategic studies from the University of Wales and is currently pursuing a PHD in international strategic studies from the University of Leeds.
The Royal Saudi Air force is where Turki Bin Abdullah first served as a military officer as well as jet pilot. He was later promoted to captain in October 1997. He then rose to the position of lieutenant colonel pilot in July 2006. Later, he served as the commander of Red Flag-4 group exercise group in 2010.
On February 13, 2014 he replaced Muhammad bin Saad by being appointed deputy governor of the Riyadh province. He was then appointed to governor of Riyadh at rank of minister in May 14, 2014. He was then replaced by Faisal Bin Bandar Al Saud on January 29, 2015. Al Obayya Corp is one of the many business investments of Turki.

The members of the Saud Royal family are sworn to secrecy and they are strictly forbidden from speaking to the press. They come from deeply conservative families.
