Rosanne was an amazing show. It was amazing because it showed us that there is nothing wrong with being in a slightly dysfunctional family as long as there is a lot of love to be shared. It showed us all that we weren’t as weird as we thought. What is crazy to think is that the show came on the air twenty-five years ago. It’s the kind of thing that makes you feel really old when you say it. Hard to believe we have been belly-laughing with the Conner’s for two plus decades.
Hollywood News Daily has the story, and it got us thinking. Mainly about that ending. Do you remember the ending to the Rosanne show? Where we found out most of what we learned was a lie told to us by Rosanne? Just to find out that Dan had died of that heart attack in the show was so intense and put such a different spin on the entire show. A lot of people forget that ending, but we don’t. We are TV people, afterall.
The Rosanne show also introduced us to a bunch of talented souls we would be following for years, like Sarah Chalke, of Scrubs fame. Wow, this is making us really nostalgic. We may just need to bust out our Rosanne DVD’s this weekend and have a marathon session. Who’s in?
