Right now Amanda Bynes is at the UCLA Medical Center. She will be there for at least the next 60 days. In a worst case scenario she’ll be there for an entire year. We’re glad she’s getting the help that she needs (because she definitely needs help) but we found out that the costs for her treatment are totaling $3500 a day. Sources say that the cost is so high because it not only covers treatment but also living expenses. Still though, $3500 a day? My mortgage doesn’t even cost that much and that’s per month.
As TMZ points out, one can get a deluxe executive suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills for $815 a night. On Friday a judge ruled that doctors could keep Bynes for up to a year even though the goal is 60 days. 60 days of care is roughly $210,000 and a year would be nearly $1.3 MM. For that kind of money we’re really hoping that Bynes comes out on top and resurrects her career.
Is this coming out of tax payers money? Apparently not much is coming out of Amanda’s SAG membership insurace.
