Do you feel like you don’t understand love in the 21st century? Well, your confusion may be coming to an end shortly. Comedian Aziz Ansari has nabbed a book deal worth $3.5 million in which he will describe the perils of love in the modern era. Aziz to the rescue, your worries are over. The story was first broken by Publisher’s Weekly and then confirmed on various other media outlets.
Ansari’s lastest material, ‘Dangerously Delicious’ has had a heavy focus on love and relationships. In a statement describing his new book the comedian said, “”You know when you text someone you’re romantically interested in and you don’t hear anything back and then you see them post a photo of a pizza on Instagram? That’s exactly what I want this book to deal with.” That quote alone may be reason to read the book.
The book, which has yet to be given a release date, will be a compilation of his comedic material as well as some hardcore research about the state of love. If you click the link above you can see some more of Aziz’s interview regarding the book. It seems like he’s serious (and he’s a comedian) about bringing to light the facts of love. Should be interesting to see how well the book does. We’re interested.
