Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, celebrated their first wedding anniversary this week. According to various media outlets, the couple spent September 9th down south in both Charleston, SC and Savannah, Georgia as they toasted one year of marriage. It was a rather low-key affair as the two spent most of the time alone and had a small group dinner at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room. When the restaurant owner was asked about the couple she described them as ‘absolutely darling’.
Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room isn’t exactly your Hollywood-level, expensive dining either. According to The Huffington Post, the couple sat with six other guests and dined on fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, butter beans, meatload, and homemade biscuits. The entire meal supposedly set Reynolds back $36. Word on the street is that he did leave a generous tip though. Which leads to our next question: how does Reynolds maintain that six-pack?
The couple was married a year ago in Savannah, GA and spent their anniversary walking around and shopping. A couple months ago, Reynolds opened up about their desire to star a family. Both stars agreed that they would love to have a big family. Reynolds and Lively are keeping it simple and it seems like a Hollywood marital success story to me.
