I am the mother of four small children (8, 5, and 2-year-old twins) and I have never given any of them a bath. I have a raging fear of all things bathtub related. I hate them. We have three bathrooms and only one with a tub because I hate tubs so much. The idea of being inside something with wall grout shoved into the corner of a small room that may or may not be filled with dirty bodily grossness and feet and germs – I could die. I get so grossed out I’m actually gagging right now. For 8 years, my husband has done all bath times. I wear flip flops in my own walk-in shower because it has tile floors and there is grout. I’m so grossed out. Everyone has something weird going on in their lives. My phobias are weird. I’m sure yours might also be weird. Even celebrities have weird phobias. Trust me – we aren’t as weird as we like to think.
She’s afraid of something – and it’s not what you might think. She’s afraid of gum. Yes, gum. She will not allow it anywhere in her building, her home or anywhere she is shooting. She’s even told people they cannot spend time with her if they have gum in their mouths. We don’t know why, but we’re afraid of bath tubs so we can’t judge.
She suffers from something called Trypophobia. It’s a fear of patterns that are irregular or even small holes. She cannot handle them or stand them, and she says her fear of them is really bad. It turns out that this is not an uncommon occurrence for many people, either. She suffers from Trypophobia in very good company and has no issue whatsoever keeping her fears from bothering her as often as she can.
Billy Bob Thornton
He married Angelina Jolie and the two walked around with their own blood in vials around their necks, but the man is terrified of antique chairs. He thinks he might have had a negative encounter with one in his past life at some point, because these inanimate objects terrify him to no end.
She’s terrified of dolphins. They’re sweet, adorable and so much fun. You will not catch her on a dolphin cruise or even visiting them at Sea World she is so terrified of them. She has dreams of them since she was a child that they are surrounding her in her pool and that they are trying to kill her. Hey, there are things in the water I’m happy to stay away from, but I wouldn’t call dolphins a fear.
She has a thing with paper that is not laminated. She is terrified of dry paper and will do anything and everything in her power to ensure she does not have to touch it. If she has to read a script or anything of that nature, she has to have someone laminate it for her. Now that I’m thinking about it, though, paper is kind of gross and weird feeling.
