Daft Punk, Teenage Lorde Take Top Grammy Awards Plus Pics

French electronic music DJs Daft Punk and New Zealand teen Lorde took home the top Grammy awards on Sunday (January 26). Daft Punk scored the double win of album of the year for ‘Random Access Memories,’ and record of the year with the summer dance hit ‘Get Lucky,’ featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers. Paul Williams, one of the featured artists in ‘Random Access Memories,’ joked about working with the quirky robotic duo.

It was a star studded evening as legendary sir Paul McCartney took the stage with his one time Beatles band mate Ringo Starr. Also there were amazing performances by Pink, Willie Nelson, Gary Clark Jr., Nine Inch Nails, the list goes on.

Musically I think the Grammys took a nice big step in the right direction this year blending the old and new in a way that wasn’t too in your face and worked out quite well. We also have some great Red Carpet pics if that’s your thing!
