In what may be the most surprising celebrity pairing we have heard of in a very long time, it seems country crooner Trace Adkins will be joined on-stage by Nascar racer Danica Patrick, to host this year’s American Country Awards. While some may look at that pairing as strange, reality is, it is a perfect fit. Nascar is very much tied to country music, so to have a forerunner in the country music scene on stage with a forerunner in the Nascar scene, you are pretty much setting up a scenario that can’t lose for Country music.
Trace Adkins has actually hosted on four different occasions, so hitting the front of the stage for him is no biggie at all, but this is the first time racer Danica Patrick will be hosting. But we have seen her keep her cool going over a hundred miles an hour, and we have seen her keep her cool on a celebrity episode of the cooking show, Chopped, so if you think standing up on a stage is going to make her nervous, or that she won’t be a great host, you don’t know the stress Danica Patrick is under on a daily basis. Safe to say, like she does in most things, Danica Patrick will excel, and it is good she has veteran host Trace by her side to keep things flowing in case there is a hiccup, but we will be tuning in Tuesday, December 10th at 8 P.M on Fox to see just how it all plays out.
Like usual, our money is on Danica Patrick.
