As Norm McDonald used to say on Saturday Night Live:  Germans love David Hasselhoff.   David Hasselhoff has joined a group of protesters in Berlin who are demonstrating against having a portion of the Berlin Wall moved to make room for a path leading to luxury housing, the UK’s Daily Mail reports.  “It’s like tearing down an Indian burial ground,” Hasselhoff told the Mail Saturday, when he joined the protesters and addressed the crowd. “It’s a no-brainer.”

There are really only two pieces of the wall left standing.  One of which people call “sacred.”  In an ideal world I’d love to see Hasseloff run out there in his Baywatch bathing suit with the theme song playing as he tries to save a piece of the wall.  Either that or do something Knight Rider related.  Either way it’d be a dream come true.

Oh well, that won’t happen.   But hey, at least we got to mention David Hasselhoff today!
