Perhaps one of the most controversial castings in the past year involved one of the more accomplished names in Hollywood. No we’re not talking about Jamie Dornan in the film-adaptation of ’50 Shades of Grey’. We’re talking about an actor, screenwriter, producer and director who has won a Golden Globe and an Oscar…
Director Zack Snyder has released the first photographs of Ben Affleck as Batman in forthcoming ‘Man of Steel’ sequel. We’re not going to lie either, Affleck looks pretty ripped. The photographed released by Snyder comes just a day after Snyder teased a photo of the new Batmobile.
We have no idea what to expect from Affleck in this role, but he’s all set to star in the upcoming movie ‘Batman vs. Superman’ as Batman. He’ll be featured alongside mainstay Henry Cavill, who has been a superb Superman in the series. The other actors in the film include Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg in the role of Lex Luthor.
We don’t mean to get your hopes up so early, but we have to post the news. What we mean by that is Warner Bros. is set to release the film on May 6, 2016. Yes, that’s a long way away. The new film will serve as the launching pad for the upcoming ‘Justice League’ movie, which will bring together all your super heroes just like ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’.
