Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz Opens Up about Second Time Fatherhood

Pete Wentz, the bassist for the band Fall Out Boy, and his girlfriend welcomed their first child together last month, and the rocker is finally opening up about his newborn son. This is not the first child for Wentz, who also has a 5-year-old son with ex-wife Ashlee Simpson. However, this is the first child for his girlfriend, 25-year-old Meagan Camper.

Saint Lazslo was born on August 20, just a few days after Pete Wentz and the band made it home from their tour. The baby’s name was derived from the fact that the couple wanted him to make it long enough to allow his daddy to come home for his delivery.

“I think at some point, the name Saint came up because we thought he’d be a saint if he waited to arrive until his dad was home from tour, and he did. The name suits him,” the new family tells the public. Wentz was able to assist in the delivery, helping the first time mom welcome her first son into the world. Wentz states that Camper has taken to motherhood with ease, and that she’s had no issues so far in adjusting to the new schedule that comes with a new baby in the house.

“Meagan is a natural mom and it’s amazing to watch her with him,” says Wentz of his girlfriend. However, it’s not just the new parents that are excited to have the new baby in the house. Bronx, Wentz’ 5-year-old son from his marriage to Ashlee Simpson, is very excited about his new role as a big brother.

“The addition to our family is very exciting and Bronx is already planning everyone’s Halloween costume,” says the father of two. We can only imagine how much fun it must be for the little guy to have his new sibling home.
