Andruw Jones

Former major-league outfielder Andruw Jones was arrested early Christmas morning and charged with battery outside of Atlanta, according multiple media reports. Jones, 35, was arrested by the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department, which responded to a reported domestic dispute at Jones’ home in Duluth, Ga.

After playing in 2011-12 with the New York Yankees as a backup outfielder, he signed earlier this month with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Japan’s Pacific League.

Somehow I’m not surprised by this at all.  Anyone who has followed the career of Andruw Jones would know that it’s simply been downhill for at least the last 5-10 years.   Everyone knows the guy did steroids and he’s got a penchant for off field antics.   Now I guess he’s gonna take those antics to Japan.   Good luck Andruw.  You’re going to need it.
