Frozen’s Kristen Bell Expecting Second Child

The voice behind everyone’s favorite awkward Disney Princess, Princess Anna, sister to Elsa the Ice Queen from Disney’s Frozen, is taking on a new role; mother of two. Kristen Bell and her new husband, Dax Shepard, are expecting baby number two just 15 months after welcoming their first daughter, Lincoln.

“I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln. The whole family is beyond excited,” a rep for the famous family confirms. The couple have been together since 2007 and became engaged in 2010. After publicly announcing they would not get married until gay marriage became legal, the couple finally made it official in October of 2013. They did state numerous times their wedding would not be a big deal, and they weren’t lying. The couple headed down to the Los Angeles courthouse sans a big bridal party and poufy dresses to exchange their vows, stating that they get dressed up and party as a part of their careers too often to want to bother with it again.

While the news of their second baby is exciting, don’t expect to see any photos of the couple’s new little one when he or she arrives later this year. Bell and Shepard are very outspoken regarding the fact that their child did not choose to be born into the public eye and they work hard to keep her out of it.

“Our daughter is not a public figure. We chose to be, we volunteered to be in this business and she did not. I feel it’s very important and my number one job as a mother to protect what her interests might be,” she stated earlier this year. Unlike many celebrity parents, this is not a couple whose children you will see on the cover of magazines on newsstands. The photos they take of their little one have remained private and will likely continue to remain private even after their new addition makes his or her arrival.

My kids love to whine, so I love to wine. My loves include nap time, bed time, date night, travel and evenings and weekends when my husband is home because he handles all diaper changes.
