George Clooney has Not so Nice Words for A-List Actors

2013 BAFTA LA Jaguar Britannia Awards Presented by BBC America - Show

George Clooney is one of the most beloved figures in Hollywood, and we’re not just talking about women. However, Clooney is overly cautious when it comes to opening up about fellow stars, unless it’s Brad Pitt. In a recent interview with Esquire, Clooney opened up about fellow actors he’s worked with including Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, and Pitt.

Clearly, Russell Crowe and Clooney aren’t the best of friends. The two exchanged heated words and had serious beef over quite some time after Crowe called Clooney a sellout. Clooney also had choice words for Leonardo DiCaprio after discussing the basketball game rivalry between the two:

“The discrepancy between their game and how they talked about their game made me think of how important it is to have someone in your life to tell you what’s what,” Clooney adds. “I’m not sure if Leo has someone like that.”

When it comes to Pitt, well, Clooney is thumbs up for his former co-star:

“For a long time now, Brad has been the biggest movie star in the world,” Clooney admits. “He’s bigger than me, bigger than DiCaprio. And I really admire how he deals with that. It’s not easy for him. But he tries to be the most honest version of Brad Pitt that he can be. And he also remains unavailable. He’s still a giant movie star because you can’t get to him.”

Clearly, Clooney’s buddy is going to get rave reviews, but it’s interesting to see his interaction with other super star actors like Crowe and DiCaprio. It comes as no surprise that Crowe and Clooney aren’t best mates.
