Iggy Azalea Falls off Stage at VMA Rehearsal

It was a run of bad luck at the VMA rehearsals this weekend. As stars begin to prepare for their big night in music, there have been a number of unfortunate incidents at the show. One of the incidents that occurred at rehearsals happened to Iggy Azalea. The Australian rap star was rehearsing for her performance at the VMAs when she fell off the stage.

At the moment, there is no official word as to whether or not the rapper was injured even a little during her fall. She fell on Friday night in Los Angeles as she rehearsed, “Fancy,” according to sources inside the rehearsal at The Avalon. It would appear she’s not injured – at least not badly – as security personnel were able to pull her back to the stage where she was able to continue performing the song. The star then admitted to feeling “very blessed,” after the rehearsal when she was speaking to those who were watching her perform. She was referring to the fact that she did not break her legs.

Azalea later posed a video on Instagram of her falling off the stage. The caption to the video reads, “I know I laughed,” which is another positive indication that the rapper was not injured during the fall, and therefore not in need of any additional medical attention. She’s probably also feeling particularly blessed that she did not end up with more severe injuries as she was up for seven awards at last night’s VMA awards. That’s just one less award nomination than Beyonce, who leads the pack with VMA nods this year.

Despite the fact that the rapper has posted a video and commented on the incident at the VMA rehearsal, no one from MTV or Azalea’s camp has come forward to comment on the singer’s fall.
