J.J. Abrams Wishes Fans Happy Star Wars Day From Set

“May the fourth be with you!” Move over Cinco de Mayo, there’s a new holiday in early May that you should take notice. Fans of the Star Wars saga have started taking May 4th to celebrate the epic intergalactic saga of good versus evil. There’s no saying how or who started the holiday, but it’s being embraced from the United States to Rome to Bangkok.

While Star Wars fans are enjoying the day across the globe, some fans are working on bringing the magic back to you. Screenwriters J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan had a special message for fans. The duo submitted a special video message to Jedi-wannabes around the globe from London.

In case you missed it, the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII was recently announced. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are back with a bunch of new, but recognizable faces to join the cast. The film is set to release on December 18, 2015. We can’t wait!
