Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are Reportedly Dating

Superstar actress Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay front man Chris Martin are seeing each other, multiple sources have confirmed. Jennifer had been dating her X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult, but the pair broke up for the second time earlier this summer. They had been dating since 2011, with a quick break in the winter of 2013. Chris Martin famously had a “conscious uncoupling” from wife Gwyneth Paltrow, which they publicized in March. They had been married for over ten years and have two children together. The new pair have reportedly been spending lots of quality together since late June, following the Oscar winner’s split from Hoult.

As for Martin and Paltrow, the exes have remained more than amicable since the breakup and still lived together in their Brentwood, Calif. home as late as June. “They’ve tried to keep things as stable and consistent as possible for their kids,” a source told E! News at the time. “They spend a lot of time together as a family and haven’t changed things since they announced they were splitting up. Other than taking off their wedding bands, they seem closer than ever.”

Amicability must be in the air, because Lawrence and Hoult’s breakup was reportedly “very amicable” as well. It was their busy filming schedules that made spending time together near impossible. “They spent a lot of time apart because of work, and it was difficult on their relationship,” an insider said. The Silver Linings Playbook star turned 24-years old on Friday, August 15.  She recently completed filming on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, and last year, Coldplay recorded a song, titled “Atlas,” which was featured on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack. Maybe that’s how Jennifer and Chris become close?
