According to RadarOnline, Jenny McCarthy might be out of ‘The View’ before she even started. A source close to production told the gossip website that McCarthy is in danger of losing her spot on the morning talk show because viewers are tuning out when she starts talking. The most alarming part of the report is that McCarthy is getting worse reviews than former host and oft polarizing figure Elisabeth Hasselbeck who left the show for Fox News. The source says:
“ABC has begun doing deep research on Jenny’s work on the show and the initial findings are that viewers want to tune out the second she opens her mouth! The data has revealed that she is FAR more off-putting than Elisabeth.”
‘The View’ titan Barbara Walters, 84, who is retiring from the broadcast in 2014 isn’t looking for a replacement just yet, but she is overly concerned with ratings and if Jenny doesn’t get her act together shortly she’ll be out. According to various sources, the show’s ratings have taken a major dip since McCarthy joined. It’s unclear if McCarthy’s deal is one or two years, but if Barbara wants her out they will buy out her contract.
