Jersey Shore Couple Calls it Quits

If anything good can come from a Jersey Shore breakup, it’s more time to GTL. It’s not that easy to hit the gym, tan and do laundry when you’re in a serious relationship and spending your free time together, but Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola no longer have that problem. They apparently have been spending more time GTL-ing and less time together in recent months. The Jersey Shore couple has been together for more than five years, and they have recently decided to end their long-term relationship.

“We were drifting apart and not really spending any time together,” Magro announced when he appeared at the premiere of Jersey Shore Massacre, the new film starring his old Jersey Shore friend JWoww.

It’s not big news for fans of the reality show duo. During the show’s exceptionally popular run, the couple broke up and got back together more times than fans could count. While they always claimed that this time was the last time, fans are wondering if this time might really be the last time. It appears the couple broke up more than two months ago, and they haven’t decided it was a mistake yet.

“I still care about her. She’s a great girl, but we were growing distant. It was for the best,” he says of Sammi. Now that he’s not in a relationship anymore, he’s busy with the newest lady in his life, the five-week old daughter of his former co-star, JWoww. Meilani was born five weeks ago to JWoww and her fiancé Roger Mathews. The new “uncle” says his new “niece” is someone he’s spending a lot of time with and that’s just fine with him.

Since the former Jersey Shore couple has split and gotten back together so many times in the past, it’s just a matter of time before we know whether or not this time is the last time.
