Nearly four years after their engagement and two little ones, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are officially married. The lovely blonde and her former NFL-playing fiancé tied the knot on July 5 in Santa Barbara at the San Ysidro Ranch. The wedding came the day after the stars celebrated their rehearsal with a down home barbeque and Fourth of July celebrations with all their guests. They wanted to make sure everyone traveling for their nuptials was able to celebrate the holiday in true July Fourth fashion before celebrating their big day.

Simpson donned a custom-made wedding gown designed by Carolina Herrera on her big day. The couple included their two-year-old daughter Maxwell and one-year-old son Ace in their celebration as flower girl and ring bearer. Also serving in the wedding party was Simpson’s nephew Bronx, the five-year-old son of Ashlee Simpson. Guests at the wedding included both the bride and groom’s families, Simpson’s long-time best friend CaCee Cobb and her husband Donald Faison and Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren.

“We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say, “I do,” in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives,” the new husband and wife said in a joint statement following their wedding.

Simpson has been making headlines recently for her amazing 60-pound weight loss following the birth of two children and her collaboration with Weight Watchers. Fans have followed her journey to shed the baby weight and get fit for a year now, and it looks like the newlywed has more than one reason to celebrate now that she’s met her weight-loss goals and exchanged vows with her husband after nearly four years. The couple postponed their wedding to welcome both their daughter and their son.
