A while back Justin Bieber did an interview with Rolling Stone and was asked if was going to become a United States citizen. Bieber quickly shot back, “You guys are evil. Canada is the best country in the world.” Well Biebs, that means you could be deported for foul play. According to the Huffington Post, after Biebers altercation in the Hamptons, various media outlets (I wouldn’t say the most reliable media outlets in the world) reported that Bieber could be deported. The HuffPost, while they don’t believe it will ever happen (we don’t either), came to the conclusion after some research that technically it could happen.
The article goes on to illustrate how Bieber and his bodyguards were involved in a fight in the Hamptons. Unfortunately, when I say Bieber and his bodyguards I mean his bodyguards. Regardless, if Bieber physically harmed the victim or instructed his bodyguards to do so it could be defined as assault. If the victim’s injuries were serious enough this assault could be deemed an aggravated felony. If that’s the case than that could be gametime for the Biebs.
According to the law, any immigrant who’s convicted of an aggravated felony gets a one way ticket back home. Now we realize this will never happen, but a majority of the population minus 14-17 year old girls would find this circumstance highly entertaining. For now, we’ll just file it under wishful thinking.
