Well, file this under “silly over reaction.” Seems “actress” Katherine Heigl has recently decided to kick up some dust, and if any of you remember, she is an actress known for doing just that. Seems the actress saw a pic of herself on Twitter, as posted by the Duane Reade chain of pharmacies, and she has decided to sue. Yes, Katherine Heigl sues Duane Reade over a twitpic. The worst part, the pic is nothing but her holding bags, and she is suing the chain for six million dollars for using her image.
TMZ actually has the pic if you want to see how (insignificant) it is. Here is the part we don’t understand whatsoever. This is the exact stuff that has caused most of the world to not really like Katherine Heigl. We know that sounds mean but how else can we frame it? She has a reputation of being very difficult to work with which is why she rarely ever gets roles in film anymore. Does she actually think suing a pharmacy over a rather harmless pic is the way to go to make people want to work with her again.
Also, six million? For a single pic of her? What does she think she is, a Dutchess or something? On the plus side, she has said she will donate her winnings, but come on. Like any of us believe that.
