Kim’s tweet led to a photo on her Instagram account, showing the gift that was sent from Barney’s and Couric’s highly offensive note. What really ruffled Kim’s feathers was a recent interview published by In Touch Magazine, where Couric was quoted as saying…
I don’t understand – why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested
Katie has since released a statement through E! News, explaining that her gift was genuine…
I’ve met Kim before and I think she’s a really sweet person.
I was responding to a reporter’s question, and explaining how I’m intrigued by the public’s fascination with her family. I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I’m happy for Kim and Kanye.
Is it just me, or is Katie Couric out Kardashianing Kim here? It’s obvious that Kim posted her little Twitter rant because she knew it would get her some media attention. After all, the only people in the World that think the Kardashians are talented, and are popular because of their “talent”, are the Kardashians.
Now instead of letting Kim’s Twitter tantrum disappear into the Twitterverse, Katie Couric has issued an insincere apology to make this story about Katie Couric. Bravo Katie, bravo.
