Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult Talk about Their Onscreen Relationship

Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult have paired up for the new film, Equals. The two young Hollywood stars will act beside one another as potential love interests, something the co-stars talked about over the weekend. Stewart is known most for her role as Bella Swan, the average Joe high school girl who falls in love with a vampire in the Twilight movies. She began dating her Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson, on the set of the movies and continued to have a three-year relationship with him. Hoult met actress Jennifer Lawrence on the set of their movie, X-Men: First Class, where the two began a long-term relationship before calling it quits last month.

The fact that both have met and began relationships with co-stars has led some to wonder whether or not the young actors might do the same on the set of their new film. “I can’t stand him,” Stewart jokingly said of Hoult, after being spotted enjoying dinner together last week.

“It’s always a weird position to be put in any film where the director chooses two people and is saying, ‘Hey, potentially in this world I’m creating you two could fall in love,’. Sometimes this kind of situation feels forced and tricky and awkward, but the kind of environment director Drake Doremus created was straightforward and easy. Kristen is a great actress, and that just makes it very relaxed and my job very easy,” Hoult commented.

It won’t be long before rumors start to swirl that the couple are seeing one another. It happens in almost every film starring a couple of young, unattached actors are put into the position of being on-screen love interests – and it’s already happened in reality for both Equals stars. That kind of attention is what caused the young stars to speak up about their professional relationship early on in the game.
