Lauren Conrad Introduces Line of Bridesmaid Dresses

Lauren Conrad is set to get married soon, and fashionistas everywhere are excited to watch the former “Laguna Beach,” and “The Hills,” star walk down the aisle. Her fashion line and fashion blog are fan favorites, and everyone is dying to see the designer walk down the aisle. More importantly, they’re dying to see what she decides to wear when she walks down the aisle. While we don’t know what her gown will look like, we do know that fans will be thrilled to know that Conrad just introduced a line of bridesmaid dresses to her collection, Paper Crown.

“In our collection, we’re only doing a few dresses that aren’t long. We’re doing full-length, a couple midi and then we have a couple to-the-knee. We didn’t’ really go shorter than that because it doesn’t really feel appropriate, and if that’s what you want, then you can always shorten the dress,” she says of her new collection, which she and several of her real life bridesmaids model in an upcoming issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.

She created the line to mimic her own feelings regarding style and bridesmaids, and her own ideas about what she wants her bridesmaids to wear.

“I don’t think it has to be too cohesive. It’s too difficult to take a group of girls and put them in the same color and silhouette; everyone has their own style. I don’t mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones,” she says of the dress choices her 9 bridesmaids will get to choose from – from her collection, of course.

She’s going the same route with her bridesmaids in regards to their hair and makeup as well. “I’m letting the girls do whatever they want. I think that weddings are about celebrating, and you want everyone to feel comfortable, so I think it’s about whatever is going to make them feel pretty,” she says. Her only stipulation is that her bridesmaids wear a light color nail polish.
