In case you missed it in this week’s world of Scientology, a missing report was filed with the LAPD for Shelly Miscaviage, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscaviage. In case you also missed out, there’s been a ton of talk about Leah Remini leaving Scientology. One of the main reasons was her questioning the whereabouts of Shelly. Turns out the two stories are completely related and that missing person’s report was actually filed by Remini herself.
Marc and Claire Headley — two outspoken, former high-ranking Scientologists are praising Leah for her testicular fortitude. Claire tells us, “Shelly was seen for the first time in 7 years. At least we know she’s alive.” Claire is skeptical that Shelly is exercising free will, and believes the outreach by Leah will show Shelly that people care about her “on the outside.”
Headley believes that Shelly was actually “shown” to LAPD by Scientology handlers. Scientology sources are saying it’s absurd. The LAPD however is concluding that Shelly isn’t being held against her will.
Either way, Leah Remini, once a proud member of Scientology is practically the leading spokesperson against the movement.
