Well it’s about time right? We’ve been saying that Lindsay Lohan deserves jail time for quite a while now. We’re talking years, not months of repeated reckless behavior for which she’s never really been punished. Probation is a load of garbage. Getting community service doesn’t seem to help. We don’t know if Lohan has ever been to therapy but that’s obviously needed. Granted it’s only 240 days but at least it’s a start. According to TMZ:
Prosecutors will ask the judge in her criminal trial to throw the book at Lindsay Lohan and give her 240 days in jail if she’s convicted of lying to cops in her June car accident case … TMZ has learned. Sources close to the case tell TMZ … the L.A. City Attorney will be in court, lying in wait in the event Lindsay is convicted. We’re told if the jury finds her guilty, L.A. prosecutors will ask the judge to jail her … because she would have squarely violated her probation in the jewelry heist case by breaking the law.
Lohan would really only server between 60 and 90 day but like we said, it’s a start. My guess is she doesn’t get convicted and somehow pleas to a lesser charge.
