Mark Wahlberg is one of the biggest, richest names in Hollywood. His success isn’t a product of some fancy Ivy College education. In fact, Mark Wahlberg, at the age of 42, has finally earned his high school diploma. According to the Wall Street Journal, 25-years after dropping out of high school Wahlberg joined the class of 2013.
Wahlberg’s graduation was celebrated with the Taco Bell Foundation for teens. Wahlberg has become an ambassador for the Taco Bell Foundation for teens in an effort to preach the importance of education to the youth of America. As an inaugural partner to the program, Taco Bell will fund will fund high school completion and career certificates.
Wahlberg joined the Taco Bell Foundation for teens and Taco Bell in support of the program presenting scholarships to select Taco Bell employees at the Irvine, Ca. headquarters. Mark Wahlberg also does a fair share of philanthropic work through his Mark Wahlberg Foundation. Mark’s diploma is a reason for inspiration for the foundation and both Taco Bell and the Wahlberg Foundation are continuing to seek ways to partner up to help the youth of America.
