Sources at TV Guide say NBC is reportedly in talks with Alec Baldwin to join the late-night lineup, according to The New York Times. The network is said to be in talks with the 30 Rock alum to host a 30-minute late-night program that would possibly replace Carson Daly’s Last Call. (Daly is currently the host of NBC’s biggest hit, The Voice.)

With Jimmy Fallon taking over The Tonight Show for Jay Leno and Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers reportedly in contention to replace him, it seems NBC is looking for a complete overhaul of their late-night lineup.

Logic definitely points in the favor of Baldwin eventually taking over Leno’s spot now.  Though speculation has it that Fallon is taking over I would not be surprise at NBC at this point.  Do you guys think that Baldwin would be a good host?  He definitely has the demeanor for it.

Question is how he’d be with guests.  I vote yes.
