Ever since Doogie Howser way back in the 90’s, people have really liked Neil Patrick Harris, and with good reason. He is humble, charismatic, and just seems like a genuinely good guy. The thing is, anytime there is news attached to Neil Patrick Harris, it is like he is the “anti-Hollywood” in the sense that it is never salacious. He is always in the news, but it is about his adorable family, or how he is hosting an awards show, but it is never drama, and it is nice to see that is modern Hollywood. Well, be prepared to like him more, because he has given his thoughts on hosting the Emmy’s, and it just reminds us exactly why we like him so much.
Essentially, Neil Patrick Harris basically said he feels honored to be the person hosting the Emmys and honoring TV. He seems well aware that TV is what launched his career, and feels more than ready to be the person at the wheel with hosting duties again, giving props to the medium that has done so well by him. Harris, who has successfully hosted many an awards show before, has credited his love for magic, and his gift for song, as two of the things that seem to work well when he hosts, and he is looking forward to bringing some of that style and grace to the stage when he hosts the 2013 Emmys this Sunday evening on CBS.
