According to Fox News Randy Travis pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated Thursday in a case that began last summer when the naked country music star crashed his Pontiac Trans Am. Travis received two years of probation, a $2,000 fine and a 180-day suspended jail sentence. If he doesn’t successfully complete the probation, he will face the jail time. He was ordered to spend at least 30 days at an alcohol treatment facility, complete 100 hours of community service and have an ignition interlock device on any vehicle he operates while on probation.
Man, what the hell has gotten into Randy Travis lately? The guy used to sing gospel back in the day. He was a model citizen. My guess? It was his divorce in 2010. Basically all his crappy run ins have come in 2012. First the dude is lying naked somewhere. Then he gets into a fight. Now this?
Let’s hope that this probation does the man some good. He’s got too good a voice to waste getting wasted and fighting and lying naked in roads.
