Rick Springfield was arrested today on a bench warrant stemming from his DUI case. A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department tells TMZ, deputies went to Rick’s L.A. home this morning to execute the warrant … but by the time he was being booked, Rick’s attorney had the warrant recalled. Rick was subsequently released.
Rick posted an update on his Facebook from the Lost Hills sheriff station, writing, “I didn’t know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it’s been cleared up and I am free to go.”
I’m sorry but at this point any time I even hear or see anything relating to Rick Springfield I just keep thinking of “Jesse’s Girl.” I mean other than that it’s hard for me to take anything seriously when that tune is blasting in my brain. I guess he was a decent soap opera star too right?
