Rolling Stones To Resume Their Tour in May

The Glastonbury Festival 2013

As many of you know, Mick Jagger’s girlfriend, L’Wren Scott killed herself last month by hanging herself, and this led to the Rolling Stones canceling some dates on their most recent tour.  . The soul cannot prepare for that kind of tragedy, and when it hits, it tends to overtake everything else. Thing is, sometimes being busy is the best way to work through a tragedy, and it seems Mick Jagger may know that, as the Rolling Stones are resuming their tour shortly.

This Summer the Rolling Stones will be making another go at the live tour. The 14 On Fire tour will kick off again May 26 in Norway. I think the Rolling Stones realized that they can all sit around, being sad and focusing on the loss, or they can go out, keep busy, and do what they do best. Which one would you choose? Yeah, us too. We think that is the route the Stones chose as well.

It is such a massive tragedy, and you can’t imagine anyone having to go through that.  We are just glad Mick and the rest of the Rolling Stones can work through the tragedy. Can’t imagine that would be too easy.  Then again the roar of the crowds and 50 plus years experience of doing this together will more than likely take these veterans through everything.

If you haven’t had a chance to see these guys live, you need to take it.  Although it seems the whole “they won’t be touring much longer” statement has been going on since the 80s.   There’s definitely a chance these guys are still Rolling when they all hit three digits.
