Ronaiah Tuiasosopo Says That Crushing Social Pressure Drove Him Into a ‘Fantasy World’

I just want to start off by saying there are few times that I get annoyed about who I’m reporting on. The fact that I’m even writing the name Ronaiah Tuiasosopo bothers me a great deal. I mean talking about T’eo is one thing. But now we’re giving this much attention to this Ronaiah character? It really bothers me. As much as I don’t want to give it the satisfaction, this does happen to be a gossip site. Anyway….

Sources close to Ronaiah tell TMZ he was always afraid to explore his sexuality fearing scorn and ridicule from the Samoan community, his church community and the football community. At an early age, we’re told Ronaiah created a private world for himself, that was not rooted in reality. Besides playing high school football, Ronaiah’s family is a very football-centric group with several members having played in the NFL.

Instead, we’re told Ronaiah created a female character, like Lennay, to interact with men through her because instead of feeling guilt about his sexuality, he could chalk it all up to make-believe.  I think we should just chalk all of this up to make believe.  Let’s move on shall we?
