Royal Baby Number Two is on the Way

It’s the day the world has been waiting for after months of speculation: Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting Baby Number Two! The royal couple has decided to make it official since the Duchess of Cambridge is going to miss out on a few royal engagements thanks to the fact that she is currently experiencing the same issues she experienced when she was pregnant with Prince George.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news. As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess is being treated by doctors in Kensington Palace,” said the palace in an official statement on Monday morning.

The 32-year-old soon-to-be parents of two have been dodging pregnancy rumors since practically the moment Prince George was born in July 2013. It’s been just over a year since the couple began their adventures in parenting, and it looks like Prince George is going to be a big brother before he even turns 2. While there is no official word on when the Duchess is expected to deliver the next royal baby, it’s believed she’s still in the early stages of the first trimester of her pregnancy considering she did consume moderate amounts of alcohol at a public appearance with the Duke in late May.

Her condition is one that affects some women who are expecting a baby. It’s morning sickness that’s so severe it causes dehydration and other negative side effects if it is not carefully managed and dealt with. She’s being treated for her condition, which means she likely will not experience any overly negative side effects other than terrible nausea and vomiting.
