As to be expected the fifth season of Glee is being held back due to the unfortunate and untimely death of actor Cory Monteith. Producers have pushed back the filming of the show for two weeks in order to rewrite the story line for Monteith’s character Finn Hudson. Sources say that the storyline for Finn Hudson was “massive” and that it impacted the entire show. Other sources say that the plot line involving Finn Hudson was to start at the very beginning of the season.
The producers and writers are trying to figure out exactly what to do because nearly everything has to be rewritten. While it’s probably the last things on people’s minds, the show does in fact have to go on and the staff is trying to get back to work and make the show as successful as it’s been.
What’s more is that no one really knows how real life and on screen girlfriend Lea Michele is going to react to all of this. She hasn’t commented yet on whether she’ll be returning to the show. The filming was set to be within the next two weeks and right now that’s obviously pushed back. We’ll keep you posted.
