Upton, 20, must have been a little taken aback by Jake Davidson’s now-famous video, in which the Los Angeles teen amusingly invites the supermodel to his senior prom. But isn’t that what every girl wants? A guy who’s sweet and full of surprises, and not afraid to express himself with a dozen roses? Hell, even People did a whole article on why she should go.
Here’s my take on the whole thing. Over the last few years we’re seeing a huge increase in these celebrity invites to proms, military balls, you name it. Let me ask you something. If some random person asked you to their prom would you go? Probably not. So why the hell should Kate Upton go?
To prove to guys out there with a little persistence even a supermodel will go to your prom? Whatever. What if this dude Jake is a complete psycho. I mean you have to be a little weird just to make that video right? Yeah on the other side of the coin it’s a good deed and will go down as the most famous prom of the year but I don’t know man….
