The actress who played main character Eric Forman’s older sister on ‘That 70′s Show’ passed away in her sleep at a rehab clinic on Wednesday according to TMZ. Lisa Robin Kelly was only 43 years old when she checked herself into a rehab clinic a week ago following years of addiction and legal issues. The young sitcom actress was convicted of DUI and also had incidents of spousal abuse and assault over the past several years. She checked herself into the clinic to try and straighten out her life.
It’s a very sad story as people around Kelly had told media outlets they had spoken to her prior to checking into rehab and there was a lot of positivity surrounding her as she looked to move on with her life. Kelly was looking forward to putting the addiction and other issues behind her and moving forward with her life.
The Connecticut-born actress made her first TV debut on ‘Married With Children’ in 1992. She appeared in several other TV shows in her career before becoming a regular on ‘That 70′s Show’ for five years. She eventually left the show and was replaced by actress Christina Moore. Another sad story out of Hollywood – seems all too frequent these days.
