10 Celebrities Who Have Called Off Weddings More than Once

Marriage is a very serious commitment that everyone just isn’t ready or willing to make. However, for those living life in the spotlight, marriage can often be a very scary thought. With all of the constant attention and traveling, it can be hard to stay focused on just one person – especially for a lifetime. But even with that fear, many stars have fallen in love, and have in turn, chosen to take their relationships to the next level. Although many celebrities have entered into engagements, they have often decided to call the wedding off.  While one mistake is understandable, there are some stars who have called their weddings off multiple times. Here are 10 celebrities who have called off weddings more than once.

Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow has had a very successful career over the last three decades, and not only has she been busy making music, but she’s also been busy falling in love.  However, despite all of her high-profile relationships, Crow has never been married.  Although she’s been engaged three times, she’s broken the engagement and called off the wedding before ever making it down the aisle.

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp is now happily married to Amber Heard. But before tying the not, Depp had gone through a series of engagements.  Depp planned to marry Jennifer Grey, Sherilyn Fenn, and Winona Ryder but never actually made it to the altar with any of the women.  Apparently, Depp had a serious case of recurring cold feet.

Marilyn Manson

Marilyn Manson may not look like the type of guy that girls usually go for, but over the years he’s actually been in some pretty high-profile relationships, and Manson seems to attract some of Hollywood’s finest.  However, despite his relationships, Manson has ended several of his relationships before the big day.  Manson was engaged to actress Rose McGowan for two years before the couple decided to call of the wedding and go their separate ways. He also planned to marry actress Evan Rachel Wood, but after a year of engagement, the couple split.

Rose McGowan

For years, it just seemed like marriage wasn’t in the cards for Rose McGowan despite her best efforts.  Although she’s been married since 2013, she had to kiss quite a few frogs to get there. Aside from her failed engagement to Marilyn Manson, McGowan was also engaged to director, Robert Rodriguez. Although the couple was planning their wedding for 2009, they ended up splitting that year before making the big commitment.

Lil Wayne

BET AWARDS '14 - Show

Despite his short-lived marriage to childhood sweetheart, Toya Wright, Lil Wayne definitely doesn’t seem like the settling down type. In 2002, Wayne proposed to R&B singer, Nivea, and things looked promising for the couple. However, he called off their engagement just a few months later when decided he wanted to marry Toya instead.  After his two-year marriage to Toya, Wayne again proposed to Nivea (with whom he eventually had a child), but decided for a second time that he didn’t want to marry her. There are also rumors with Wayne was once engaged to actress Lauren London (he has a kid with her, too) but the two were never married.

Brandy

During the 90s and early 2000s, Brandy was one of the best R&B artists in the game.  Aside from being a singer, she has also found success on the screen, but one area that she hasn’t seemed to find much success in is her personal life. In the early 2000s, Brandy was engaged to NBA player Quentin Richardson but after 15 months, she decided to call it quits.  Brandy was also engaged to Ryan Press but the two decided that they didn’t want to get married and made  a mutual decision to end their relationship.

Big Sean

Technically, Big Sean has only been engaged once.  However, prior to his short-lived engagement to actress Naya Rivera, Sean was dating his high school sweetheart, Ashley, whom he planned on being with forever.  However, over the course of their relationship, Sean and Ashley found themselves going in different directions and were never married. Now that it’s clear that Sean and Rivera won’t be getting married either, rumor has it him and Ashley may get back together.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton has never been married, but she’s come close twice. In 2002, Hilton was engaged to model Jason Shaw and things seemed promising for the couple. However, they called off the wedding the following year.  Hilton was also briefly engaged to shipping heir, Paris Latsis, but apparently there’s not enough room in one relationship for two people named Paris.

Kat Von D

Kat Von D’s dream wedding just doesn’t seem like it’s meant to be. Kat Von D and former fiance, Jesse James, called off their wedding not once, but twice! As if that weren’t enough to discourage her from every wanting to take the plunge, Kat was later engaged to music producer Joel Zimmerman, but called off the wedding due to Zimmerman’s infidelity.
