Once people reach a certain level of success, you almost expect them to change. With so much money and attention, it can be easy to fall into the traps of arrogance and obnoxiousness. However, although there are plenty of stuck-up stars, there are also plenty who haven’t let the fame go to their heads. These people have managed to stay grounded in an industry that tries to force them to be otherwise. Whether it be donating money to charity, spending time with fans, or just flat-out being a good person, these people seem to have a pretty good understanding of what’s really important in life. Will Smith
Will Smith has found success over the years as both a music artist and an actor. However, he has stated: I’ve never viewed myself as particularly talented. I’ve viewed myself as … slightly above average in talent. Where I excel is with (a) ridiculous, sickening work ethic.” Well, With Smith definitely has hard work down to a science, and he’s managed to do it all while being not only down to earth, but a good father and husband as well.

Robert Pattinson
Twilight star, Robert Pattinson, hasn’t seemed to let the fame go to his head. Throughout his career he’s remained very down to earth and has even been known to stand outside at all times of day and night to sign autographs and interact with his fans with no complaint. Even fellow Hollywood stars have commented on Pattinson’s humility. During an interview, Reese Witherspoon, who starred opposite Pattinson in the film Water for Elephants, stated: “He [Pattinson] was incredibly gracious, smart, and actually shy and introverted. He’s a very grateful person.”

Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel may look big and intimidating, but he’s actually a really nice, and more importantly, humble guy. Over the years, Diesel has maintained a very good relationship with his fans, and has seemed incredible thankful for all of their support. When his Fast & Furious co-star, Paul Walker passed away in 2013, he also showed a very kind and caring side of himself when he paid tribute to his fallen friend by naming his newborn daughter in his honor.

Actress turned singer, Selena Gomez, may be young, but she’s certainly got a good head on her shoulders. Selena always makes time for her fans and has often been seen taking photographs and signing autographs. Well-known for her role as the title character in the series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar has enjoyed a very successful career in the entertainment industry. Zach Galifianakis
Zach Galifianakis may be one of the funniest guys in Hollywood, but he’s serious about being a good person. In 2013, he made headlines when he took an elderly woman, Mimi Haist, with him to the Hangover III premiere. Apparently, Galifianakis met Haist during the 1990s when she was working at a laundromat that he frequented. Unfortunately, Haist had fallen on hard times over the years and become homeless. When Galifianakis heard this, he found Haist a one bedroom apartment which he pays for, and he also enlisted the help of fellow star, Renee Zellweger, to furnish the apartment.

To put it simply, Tom Hanks is awesome. Although he is one of the most well-known and successful stars in the industry, he’s still found time to thank his fans for all of their support.
