Swizz Beatz is one of the most talented and well-respected producers in the hip-hop industry.  Since beginning his career as a DJ, Swizz Beatz has expanded into rapping and record production.  He rose to prominence in the early 2000s after his friendship with rapper, DMX, led to production opportunities within the industry. After working with some of the best artists in hip-hop to produce some of the genre’s most memorable songs, Swizz Beatz has become considered one of the best producers in the game.  With a discography that includes more than 30 production credits, and Grammy Award to his name, it is clear that Swizz Beatz is a force to be reckoned with.  Here are five of the best songs that have been produced by Swizz Beatz.

5. Bring Em Out – T.I.

T.I.’s 2004 smash hit, “Bring Em Out,” features the magic of Swizz Beatz production work.  Using a sample from Jay-Z’s “What More Can I Say,” Swizzy was able to create an extremely catchy beat and hook combination that helped the song reached it’s gold certification status.

4. I’m A Hustla – Cassidy

An ode to hustlers everyone, Cassidy’s “I’m A Hustla” was released in 2005 and quickly became popular for using a sample of Jay-Z’s voice repeating “I’m a hustla” for the song’s chorus.

3. Party Up (Up in Here) – DMX

In 2000, Swizz Beatz teamed up with longtime collaborator DMX for X’s hit single “Party Up.”  Since it’s release, the song has been hailed by VH1 as one of the greatest songs of the 00’s.

2. Upgrade U – Beyonce ft. Jay-Z

Beyonce’s 2006 single, Upgrade U, owes much of its success to Swizz Beatz’ production.  The song received positive reviews from critics and Andy Kellman of Allmusic called the song the “most potent track on the album”

1. Ruff Ryders’ Anthem – DMX

Released in May of 1998, DMX’s Ruff Ryders’ Anthem is one of the most memorable hip-hop songs of all time.  DMX’s aggressive in-your-face flow combined with Swizz Beatz’ energetic beat combined for the perfect musical combination.  Almost immediately after the beat drops, listeners know they are in for a wild ride.
