Lea Michele Lyrics that Would Make Great Tattoos

"Louder" Album Playback And Q + A With Lea Michelle

At just 28 years old, actress Lea Michele has already built an impressive resume.  The Glee star got her start in stage productions where she was able to not only display her acting skills, but her tremendous singing abilities as well.  In 2008, Lea Michele won a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album with the rest of the original Broadway cast for the musical Spring Awakening. As a member of the Glee cast, she has been able to continue using her voice to entertain her fans by performing Broadway hits.  In the fall of 2012, Lea Michele announced that she would be recording original music for her first solo album; however, she informed the public that process would be slow because she wanted to shy away from her more “Broadway driven” sound and establish herself as a pop/rock artist.

In December 2013 Lea Michele released her first single as a solo artist.  The song “Cannonball” received positive reviews and Michele’s debut album, Louder, was released a little less than a year later.  The album’s final track “If You Say So,” a song penned for Michele’s late boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith, even inspired Michele to tattoo the song’s title on her ribcage.  While that particular phrase may have a special meaning to Michele, her album is full of other fantastic lyrics that listeners may find ink-worthy.  Because it is not uncommon for fans to get their favorite song lyrics permanently written onto their skin; here is a list of Lea Michele lyrics that would make great tattoos.

5. “You’re mine, for life”

These lyrics from Lea Michele’s, “Your Mine,” may be the perfect representation of a lifelong commitment between two people.

4. “Even angels have their demons”

With a ‘nobody’s perfect’ sentiment, these lyrics from Lea Michele’s “Burn With You” would make a great tattoo because the line will always hold true.

3. “Peace will come”

While Lea Michele’s “Battlefield” is mainly about a relationship between two people who are slowly falling out of love, the phrase “peace will come,” can be applied to almost any situation.

2. “Love is not illusion”

This profound statement from Lea Michele’s “Empty Handed,” expresses faith in the goodness of love – something that most people can relate to.

1. “Smile through the pain”

Lea Michele borrows this age old adage for her song, “To Find You.”  The ability to smile through pain is what helps many people remain positive in the face of adversity, something Lea Michele has certainly had to do since the loss of Cory Montieth.
