What is it Like to be Kim Kardashian for One Day?
In our imaginations, being Kim Kardashian for one day does not sound all that fun. Aside from the fact she’s probably bombarded with people everywhere she goes, she’s also stuck with Kanye West. And while we aren’t hating on anyone’s marriage if it makes them happy, our personal philosophy is that Kanye West is the last person on earth with whom we’d ever want to end up stuck in the midst of conversation – but everyone feels differently. Aside from that, we imagine it might be interesting to be Kim Kardashian for an entire day. But since we cannot physically do that, she’s decided to share a day in the life of her with the rest of us. Find out what she does, what it’s like and how she copes as a young, beautiful, famous person in a world full of people that want to pull her in every which way.
Kim K.’s day begins around 6 am. She wakes up, checks her phones and the baby monitor, kisses her husband and asks him if he’d like to go for a run. She runs – sometimes alone and sometimes with him – and listens to whatever music she’s feeling, whether it’s classical or hip hop while she’s on the trails. She likes to be home before 8, however, so she can spend the morning with her daughter, which usually means shoving breakfast down her throat before North wakes. Not that she’s cooking for herself or her family, since Kanye is always dieting in some way. They have a chef that comes in and makes different things for everyone for breakfast, and she spends about an hour with her daughter before hopping into the shower around 9 am.
Her day-to-day habits change depending on the day. When she’s shooting her family’s reality show, she films from about noon until 8 pm without any breaks. Otherwise she attends meetings, shows, conference calls and eats lunch around 1 pm. She always makes time for her family in between, though, because she does not like to go a day without speaking to them. At this moment in her life, she’s more about staying home, so her day might entail a lot of being at home. It’s dinner by 7 pm at home, doing the bedtime routine with her daughter, who goes to bed at 9, and then unwinding for the rest of the night.
Her favorite way to end the evening is in her robe watching mindless television or answering emails. She will do this, work a little, and then pass out by 10 or 11 pm. So for anyone who thinks her life is makeup and glamour all the time, you’d be incorrect. Her day sounds a lot like mine, in fact.
