Tara Reid Plastic Surgery Jokes Added to the Humor of Sharknado

Tara Reid at Glamorama

Tara Reid has been in the entertainment industry for nearly 30 years.  However, she did not gain mainstream fame until the 90s when she appeared on several television shows and films.  In 1998, Reid starred in the crime comedy film The Big Lebowski.  Although the film was not a box office success, it became a cult favorite and helped further Reid’s career.  In the same year, she snagged roles in to other more successful films Cruel Intentions and Urban Legend.  Throughout the years, Reid’s career has suffered a series of ups and downs, and somehow she has become just as well-known for her botched plastic surgery than her acting roles.  In 2006, during an interview with Us Weekly, Reid admitted to having a plastic surgery procedure that “went wrong.”  Reid and her plastic surgery quickly became fodder for fan jokes all over the internet, and in 2013 when she took a role in the strange satirical film, Sharknado, fans jumped at the opportunity to tell a few jokes.  Here are the funniest Tara Reid plastic surgery jokes that add humor to Sharknado (and its sequel).

It’s sad that while watching Sharknado 2, many viewers were more focused on Tara Reid and her plastic surgery than the poor sharks who were trapped in a tornado.

Plastic surgery has been known to permanently change people’s facial expressions, and usually not for the better.  Apparently @davidbauche feels like that’s the case with Sharknado star, Tara Reid.

This tweet, which was published before Sharknado 2: The Second One was released, jokes about Reid wanting to be an actual shark in the sequel.  Unfortunately for Reid, she was stuck playing a regular human being.

Although Sharknado has somehow received an incredibly high number of fans, there’s no denying the fact that the movie is a little farfetched.  However, @cuppycup seems to believe that even Sharknado has one up on Tara Reid when it comes to looking authentic.
