In the celebrity world, it’s no secret that many relationships have a very short shelf life.  Although most couples claim to be in it forever, forever for the rich and the famous clearly has a different meaning than most people would imagine.  As a fan, you’re probably used to seeing celebrity couples come and go, but over the years there have been some couples that were harder to let go than others.  Sure, you trust that everyone has to do what’s best for them, and any time a relationship ends it was obviously for a reason, but sometimes you can’t help but wonder what would have happened had certain celebrity couples stayed together.  Although some of these couples split up several years ago, they’ve remained on the radar over the years.  Here are 10 celebrity couples who never should have broken up.

Unfortunately, their short relationship left many people wondering what would have happened if they stayed together – but now the world will never know. However, had it not been for the breakup, Swift wouldn’t have been inspired to write several of the songs on her Fearless album.  Although the couple didn’t speak for a while after their breakup, they are reportedly on good terms now.
