She spent three years as a Real Housewife of New York City before she made her exit in 2010 to pursue bigger and better things in her life, and it seems that there’s a rumor Bethenny Frankel is returning to the Housewives franchise on Bravo as a housewife. Except that it’s not true. The rumor that Frankel is returning to the cast of RHONY began earlier this week was news broke this morning that the rumor is not true – and we believe it because it came straight from Bethenny.
“I’m going in and out of Bravo, I’m talking to Andy Cohen about two different projects, because he’s got a production company now…I haven’t signed or decided to do anything. But it’s not what everyone thinks it is. He’s doing a lot of different shows, so we’re talking about a couple of different things and decided together what we’re going to do. So that could be why everyone’s writing about this,” she says of the rumors.
The good news for fans of Frankel is that she’s not sure whether or not she’s done with reality television. She spoke this morning on SiriusXM Radio and she’s not ruling anything out.
“I don’t know that I’m going back to reality TV. There are some shows that I’m talking about that have a little bit of structure in reality. But if you’re asking me if I would ever do that – or if I would be afraid to do that because of that that – I would say no. Because whether it’s write book or do interviews – I haven’t really done interviews in a long time, this is the first week because of my book…I’m going through something negative, very often I can help somebody else who’s going through something negative,” she says.
So while we still don’t know what’s up next for Frankel, we can expect to see her again – likely on Bravo.
