Five Reasons You Should be Following The Charlie Sheen Twitter Page

Actor Charlie Sheen is one of the entertainment industry’s most bizarre stars.  In 2011, after being dismissed and replaced on the popular sitcom, Two and a Half Men, Sheen suffered a very public breakdown and openly criticized the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre.  Although Sheen’s behavior probably wasn’t the best thing for his on-screen career, it certainly didn’t detract fans and actually helped his popularity become more widespread.  Shortly after his removal from Two and a Half Men, Sheen created a Twitter account which instantly became popular.  While Sheen’s temper tantrum is now behind him, his temper tantrum has gained him a whole new fan base and his Twitter page has become one of the most popular on the site.  If you’re looking for someone new and exciting to follow on Twitter, Charlie Sheen just might be your guy. Here are five reasons to follow Charlie Sheen on Twitter.

5. He has more than 11 million followers.

Charlie Sheen currently has 11.3 million followers on Twitter.  When Sheen originally created his account in 2011, Twitter fast tracked him for verification so that he could use he platform to continue the ranting he started in real life.  Before posting a single tweet, Sheen had already gained more than 60,000 followers

4. Charlie Sheen will often go on Twitter rants.

Charlie Sheen is known for ranting both on and offline, but there’s something special about a rant that is permanently etched into the internet’s memory banks.  Why wait to read about Sheen’s latest crazy antics when you can follow him and see them live. In the spring of 2014, Sheen went on a strange (even for him) rant after R&B’s bad girl, Rihanna refused to meet with his fiance.

3. Charlie Sheen’s tweets will keep you entertained.

Not only will the content of Charlie Sheen’s tweets keep you entertained, but if your eyes need a break from the typical text layout, most of Sheen’s tweets are also typed on multiple lines.

2. He interacts with his followers.

Many celebrities use Twitter as a fun way to interact with their facts and Charlie Sheen is no different.  Although the chances of getting a reply or a retweet from Sheen are probably a little on the slim side, it’s still worth a try.

1. Charlie Sheen may accidentally tweet his phone number.

In 2011, shortly after creating his Twitter account, Charlie Sheen accidentally tweeted his phone number while trying to send a direct message to Justin Bieber.  Although this slip up is probably not likely to happen again, you can’t ever be too sure when it comes to Charlie Sheen.
