Kaley Cuoco’s Husband Ryan Sweeting is from the Bahamas?

Ryan Sweeting and Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco is one of the highest-paid actresses on television, along with a few of her other cast mates over at the Big Bang Theory.  They’re currently pulling in approximately $1 million per episode, and it’s clearly well-earned considering the sheer popularity of the show. And it was only a year ago when the actress surprised the world by marrying her fiancé of only a few months (to whom she became engaged after only three months of dating), Ryan Sweeting, without anyone knowing this party was going to happen. This week the actress got to hang out on stage a few times as the favorite comedic actress at the People’s Choice Awards and when her show won. Except, she forgot to thank her husband during her speech. That’s all right, though. Her ex-boyfriend of two years and longtime co-star of her show, Johnny Galecki, took that upon himself, making a joke of the whole thing and proving that he and the actress remain great friends. So now that we’ve all seen Ryan Sweeting’s wife forget him in her acceptance speech, and her ex-boyfriend thank him in his, what else don’t we know about the pro tennis star husband of Kaley Cuoco?

He Was Born in the Bahamas

The 27-year-old actor was born in Nassau, Bahamas. It’s one of the bigger islands on which cruise ships famously dock so that travelers can make the short trip across the bay to Paradise Island, home of the rich and famous and the Atlantis hotel.

He’s a Former Florida Gator

As a born and raised Gator myself, I love this about him. He attended UF and played tennis at this amazing school in 2006 before going pro in 2007. He also earned his citizenship the same year, and he competed in his first US Open the same year. It was a busy year for him.

He Moves Fast

He played college tennis for one year before going pro, he dated his wife for less than six months before they got married, and who knows what else he likes to do quickly. Apparently when you know, you know, and he’s not suffering without a nice life, so it looks like his decisions have been pretty good ones.
