Three Things You Didn’t Know about Brie Larson

Brie Larson

She’s only 25, but she’s working on an impressive career. Brie Larson has been in a number of successful projects that have garnered a lot of attention, and she’s been in the news more than usual since 2015 began. She’s the kind of girl who is slated to go far in her career, and that’s obvious by the kind of talent and dedication she has to her craft. She wasn’t raised in Hollywood, but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s well-versed in what’s required to do her job. She’s a California girl by nature, born and raised in Sacramento, and she’s been very good about taking on roles that work with her talents and her skill set. Our bet is that she’s someone to watch as the next few years progress because her career is really taking off. Despite the fact that she’s in the news more than ever lately, it seems that Brie Larson isn’t someone people are overly familiar with. If you’re interested in the actress, you might find it interesting to learn a bit more about her.

English is not her First Language

Despite the fact that she was born and raised in Sacramento, California, and she moved to Los Angeles during her childhood her first language is French. Her mother taught her, as well as her sister, the language to use as their first and that’s been something she grew up with as a first language. English was a second language to her family.

Her First Job was with Leno

Her career began in 1998 when she spent a few episodes performing sketches on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, which was sort of her entrance into the world of acting. She then went on to star in a few other minor things before she was taken into the world of acting in other manners, and that’s how she really got started.

Her Name isn’t her Real One

Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers is her real name. In case you didn’t notice, however, it’s a bit of a mouthful so she decided to use a stage name when she became famous and began working on her career. I’d say it worked out for her.
