Bachelor Juan Pablo and his Girlfriend Sign up for Couples Therapy

Could there be trouble in paradise for the former Bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis, and his not-quite-fiance, Nikki Ferrell? It seems the rumors are true, as the couple recently signed up to do a season of the reality show Couples Therapy. Dr. Jenn Berman will counsel the celebrity couple – and several others – on their relationship and the issues they have between them.

It was just last month that rumors began surfacing that there might be some problems between the two, and the couple shot down those rumors almost instantly. “We’re doing great. We’re very happy together,” is what Ferrell told reporters when news of their relationship issues began to surface.

There has been some question as to whether or not the couple are really going to last. After all, Galavis said he didn’t love Nikki and didn’t know if he ever would, “I was criticized a lot for not saying, ‘I love you,’ to Nikki. In the Venezuelan community it means something. I mean, to propose to someone, it means something. Am I going to say, ‘I love you,’ to Nikki? I don’t know yet,” he said.

“Just because he hasn’t said it to me, doesn’t mean that I don’t say it to him. I don’t expect him to say it back when I say it. Maybe one day, he will. In all reality, we haven’t been together too long. Be he does; he loves me. He’s committed to this,” Ferrell has said to reporters in the past.

As for their new role on the show for couples with issues, Galavis has been outspoken as to why they’ve signed up.

“Is she the one or not? That’s a great question. I think she’s on the right track. Everything she does that I don’t like, I’m like, ‘Is this gonna work?’ It’s just a process, but I think we could communicate better; that’s one of the reasons why we’re here,” he says.
